The Performance Tip fits the Taka, Suimenka, Sagi, Zako and the Suzume rods. It does not fit the Kyojin rod or the Hachi rod. The Performance Tip is a faster action tip for the Suzume, Zako, Sagi and Taka tenkara rods. The tip helps quicken hook sets, cast heavier flies, cast longers lines and helps casting with a lot of wind. The Performance Tip on the Suimenka Rod is a mid-action between the Standard/Soft Tip and the Nymphing/Stiff Tip that comes included with this rod in particular.
