Las Pampas Lodge offers the ultimate Argentine trout fishing experience. It’s located in the Chubut Providence of Central Patagonia within the heart of the Rio Pico area. The remote location, the diversity of waters, and their 100% Argentine staff make this a complete package that offers up an authentic Patagonian fly fishing experience guided by the only Certified Tenkara Lodge in South America. With a multitude of spring creeks, small freestone rivers, and trophy still waters populated with a mix of rainbow, brown and brook trout, anglers have an array of options all within a small radius that would take weeks to fully sample. This can be a rod and reel or a tenkara adventure or a combination of both—it’s your choice. There are more than 25 miles of water, endless wading opportunities and five distinct floats. You’ll be taken to the upper reaches of the Rio Pico that are accessed exclusively by Las Pampas Lodge and offer up an abundance of large rainbows and browns that can surpass the 27” mark. These sections of the river require permission from local landowners and keys to unlocked gates, both of which Las Pampas has. Fishing pristine private waters and never seeing other anglers while surrounded by Patagonia’s beauty is an angler’s paradise. This is a lifetime experience that you’ll never want to leave!
